Here are some photos that I took between October 1 and October 7, 2007 while traveling through Entebbe and staying in Kampala, Uganda. I was there to visit a friend and to help them solve some computer problems while investigating what life was like in one of East Africa's most prosperous countries.

The Maribou Stork

The amazing thing about the Maribou stork was not that it stood nearly 4 foot tall or it's almost 7 foot wingspan. For me it was its choice of building their nests in the busiest, noisiest and most smog filled streets of Kampala.
